CLEAR Hope Association prepares Christ followers using practical Bible based curriculum designed to grow, heal, and equip disciples.
With a B.S. degree in Business Administration from California Baptist University and over 30 years in the business world Joy’s extensive background includes education, finance, consulting and management. She spent over a year attending classes at Moody Bible College to develop musically and pursue Christian Service training and knowledge. This experience reinforced the desire to serve the Lord and fulfill her life mission statement "to live a life centered around the Lord and His work, to serve others, and to know Him better so that others will be drawn into His love." Her call and commitment to serve led her to start CLEAR Hope Association where Ms. Pedersen can utilize her life experiences of pain, disappointment, and grief. God has allowed these to refine, nurture, and develop her godly character needed for serving others in the Body of Christ. Because of her willingness to apply God's Word for healing in her life, she brings wisdom, insight and a fresh look at the work God desires to do in His children.

Priscilla began her 31 year career at a major telecommunications corporation in customer service. She was later promoted to 1st and then 2nd level management. Her responsibilities included forecasting, resolution of complex issues, writing, training, and leading teams in serving high-end business and government customers. While working full time and raising children, Priscilla earned a B.S. degree in Business and Management. She learned through the constant industry change and in the roles of Manager, Mom and Wife, to rely on daily prayer. Her experiences and God’s precious grace grew her love for others. She was led to serve the Lord by volunteering in organizations that help those that may be hurting and need healing. Today, Priscilla volunteers at a center where children suspected of having experienced sexual abuse are interviewed. She uses the compassion and computer skills God has gifted her for this organization as well as in serving ClearHope. She is still learning and continues to focus on God to lead the way for herself and others in sharing love, hope and a path to healing.
Lisa received her B.S. in Psychology from Cal State Long Beach while working in various capacities, including Family Violence and in a runaway youth shelter. She then served the State of California as a sworn peace officer in the California Youth Authority for 25 years – as a correctional officer on a sex offender’s unit, an institutional parole agent on substance abuse units, retiring in 2011 as a field parole agent supervising the East Los Angeles and greater L.A. areas. Lisa was raised in Saudi Arabia as her father worked in the oil industry and was exposed to various cultures, which has been helpful in working with a variety of people and their backgrounds. She survives her husband after 29 years of marriage, has two wonderful children and three precious grandchildren. God’s covenant love and His continual refining fire has been steadfastly strengthening Lisa’s “inner woman” since 1980. In this strengthening and equipping, she has been involved in a number of church related ministries. Lisa has a deep desire to walk alongside others with compassion and instill hope that they might live a life in the fullness of who God created them to be.
1 The Lord God’s spirit is upon me [Jesus], because the Lord has anointed me. He has sent me to bring good news to the poor, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim release for captives, and liberation for prisoners, 2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and a day of vindication for our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3 to provide for Zion’s mourners, to give them a crown in place of ashes, oil of joy in place of mourning, a mantle of praise in place of discouragement. [WHY?] They will be called Oaks of Righteousness, planted by the Lord to glorify himself.
